Digging Deeper into “the glory of God”
1. By far, the best way to dig deeper into seeing, savoring, singing & showing the glory of God is by reading & meditating on God’s Word itself. Read thru the Bible chapter by chapter & book by book & ask the following kinds of questions of each chapter you read: · What is one way that this passage helps you see & savor God? & What is one central truth @ God in this text that makes you go “wow”? & What @ this text leads you to worship? Read the whole Bible with those questions in mind! 2. Next to the Bible 3 books that have greatly helped me to see & treasure the glory of God are The Pleasures of God by John Piper; One Thing, by Sam Storms & The Life & Diary of David Brainard, edited by Jonathan Edwards
